Indie pop, indie folk. Sadly, my intense love for Tegan & Sara will never be returned, so I’ll just play more music. These two were my favourite band for a whole year (a record). Anybody who’s found this blog probably knows them already, but it doesn’t hurt to get a reminder. Canadian, the two sisters are from Vancouver and Montreal. I can never remember which one is the cuter one… This year my roommate (and best friend) and I always hoped to run into whichever one of them lived in mtl (again I forget which it is). And my roommate’s girlfriend has seen them live like 4 times! I’m really jealous, I missed my chance a few years back. I have every album but the first, which is hard to track down. Anyway, back to the music. They’re indie acoustic at its finest. You may recognize them as ft. on a Tiesto track. Though I love all their songs, this is my favourite.
